In 1959, Camp Fire Girls took over control of Camp Birchrock. Camp Fire Girls eventually came to be known today as Camp Fire and is inclusive to all. Currently, Camp Birchrock is an all-inclusive authentic camp experience program for youth 6 years old and up. Our Day Camp program runs 11 weeks of summer, Monday through Friday. Resident Camp is offered in one week long sessions, available at different times for select age groups, for 6 weeks of the summer. Please visit back January 1st, 2020 for 2020 registration.
Camp Fire Oneida is currently searching for compassionate, caring adults who have an interest in mentoring Youth. Ideal candidates are interested in sharing a hobby or skill in a positive and inclusive environment. Past club ideas include; Snowshoeing, Ice Fishing, Bird Watching, Mycology, Backpacking, Knitting, Woodworking, etc. If you have an interest in starting a club with Camp Fire Oneida and your community’s youth, contact us today!
Camp Fire Oneida offers a babysitter’s certification course called I’m Taking Care, to help prepare youth 11 and older to safely take on the responsibility of being a babysitter. The class is generally 6 hours long, includes lunch, a workbook, and a certification card. Classes are offered several times throughout the school year in the Northwoods Area.
